Highway Hypnosis Project

Highway Hypnosis is a situation where one zones out while driving and they don't remember the journey. We conducted a session with 50 truck drivers of Shell Petroleum in Jamnagar, organized by Agrawal Transport Pvt. Ltd. where we addressed stress, bodily effects of stress, relaxation and mindfulness with the help of group hypnosis.

Stress and Anxiety Management for Army Troops

Stress and anxiety are a normal part of our lives and yet a very important mental health issue to address and deal with. We conducted a session on managing stress and anxiety, along with other emotional difficulties among army troops at EME Campus, Vadodara. We introduced group process work, communicating emotions and developing healthy coping strategies.

Case History & Mental Status Examination

Parul University invited the SafeNest team to conduct a training session on "Taking Case History and Mental Status Examination" for Masters' students of Psychology. It is a prime diagnostic tool used by psychologists to study and understand their clients.

Mind-body connection

Just like we take care of our bodies, mental fitness is equally important. We conducted a mind-body connection workshop at a gym setting teaching people how certain health issues are psychological in nature and how they affects our bodies.

Training in Counseling Approaches 

A glimpse of teaching the first batch of undergraduate students of Psychology from Parul University, where we trained them in different therapeutic approaches like Mindfulness, Humanistic and Cognitive-behavioral. We conducted one-on-one mock therapy sessions, group counseling framework and movie analysis.

Career Evaluation

This project involves working with a private training center with the students of grade 10, 11 and 12 to which involved administering standardized tests focusing on personality, interest and aptitude, followed by a group session,and one-on-one sessions with the student and their parents helping them with analyzation and making an informed decision.
